Why Clean Your Roof?
The biggest reason to clean your roof is to reduce the dirt that ends up on your rainwater tank. Your roof gets dusty pretty quickly, and that's not a huge problem but you also need to consider the animal waste that can accumulate from birds, possums, etc. You don't want that in your tank!
It's also worth noting that different roof materials require different cleaning methods. A tile roof, for example, can accumulate moss, which can cause problems and make it dangerous to work on.
